Three Avacados

Posted on December 9, 2010November 30, 2019 by Scott Couchenour

Hey Everyday Givers,

Three-avocados-story I want to alert you to a group of people who are making a difference in the lives of people in Uganda. They are called Three Avacados (known as @nonprofitcoffee on Twitter). Why am I highlighting them here? Because of the story behind their name. Check out this excerpt:

"Our story begins in the humble village of Bulopa Uganda. Bulopa, like many other villages in Uganda, is a very remote and extremely poor village. There is a small church there, which amounts to nothing more than a few sticks in the ground and some benches. We had been invited to worship with the people of Bulopa. Despite the fact we were over four hours late, the entire village was there to welcome us.  It had been a long day, we were all tired and…"

I trust this story inspires you. Participate by getting some coffee. Start your own service to others. Or look around and find excuses to give. And may God bless your holiday season!

Hi, yes thats the right link, in fact I just started a campaign to collect donations on their site. One thing that any charity org. can learn from this guy is how easy he makes to collect donations for HIS organization! 🙂

Anyway, cheers to all these people who are actually making a difference, and not just by thoughts. but by deeds!

    Peace,
    Josie Diamond

Charity Water is great I have signed up so you can donate water for free with just a few clicks. Giving isn’t always about giving money but just a little time clicking and you can make a difference. Thanks to Everyday giving to making the commitment to GIVE every day. I do it myself and blog about it just because I want to inspire others the same with you are. Thank you for changing the world one day at a time! Jacqueline http://www.365give.ca Canada

Three Avacados is just one example of the goodness of people. There are thousands more stories like this that need to get publicity.
