What Words Describe You?

Posted on November 8, 2008November 30, 2019 by Roger Carr

Wordle creates “word clouds” from text that you provide. Greater prominence is given to words that appear more frequently. The image below is a based on the text of the Everyday Giving Blog. I feel great looking at this image with words like Hope, Thanksgiving, and Life popping out at me.

But what if an image like this was based our life? What words would be given greater prominence because they appeared more frequently in our thoughts and actions? Would the words be negative and selfish or would they be positive and generous?

It is humbling to think about.

At least Wordle allows me to insert the words that I’d like to think dominate my thinking and conversation.

It’s amazing what you can learn about a person from just listening to what they say and how they say it.

Roger – That’s a great way to look at our life. I wonder if I’d be excited or sobered by my own personal word cloud. It makes me look at how I live in a totally different perspective.
