How Much Time is Worth Volunteering?

Posted on January 27, 2006November 30, 2019 by Roger Carr

Can you believe that January is almost over? Have you set your goals for 2006? If you need some help regarding your goals, apply the following articles to make 2006 a tremendous year:

  • Are You Achieving Your Goals?
  • Add Significance to Your New Years Resolutions

Be sure to set some goals for yourself this year that will help make a difference in the world.

My wife and I attended a fundraising event this past weekend. The Crystal Ball in Richmond, Virginia was held to raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation. We had a great time talking with friends and creating new ones. You can see a few pictures of us at the event. That includes one very embarrasing one that my wife took of me after the event (without me knowing it)! They can be viewed at http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=n271kc3.c99fdknr&x=0&y=wfg96a. I hope you enjoy them. I also hope it encourages you to get involved in supporting a cause. It is a great way to build friendships, learn new skills and truly make a significant difference.

The article at http://www.everydaygiving.com/ezine/27JAN06.html shares a concern that I hear on a regular basis about volunteering. Remember, you can make a tremendous difference in a person’s life with even a small contribution of your time. Don’t avoid volunteering because you don’t feel the amount of time you have available will matter.
